Registered Nurse PCU

PCU RN role providing high-quality, evidence-based care to acutely ill adult patients on the Progressive Care Unit. Responsibilities include patient assessments, developing and updating individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments safely, responding to changes in patient status, collaborating with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and other team members to coordinate care and facilitate timely discharges, and educating patients and families on disease processes, treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care. Requires comfort with advanced monitoring technology, electronic medical records, and adherence to infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards; flexible to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
