Job Summary
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintains accountability for care provision. Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers, coordinates patient care with other departments, and maintains patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with Mercy Service Standards. This RN-PCU role requires experienced nursing staff with comprehensive certifications as assigned by unit needs and a valid RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure. Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Licensure: current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Experience: Seeking experienced nurses
- Certifications: BLS required with potential for ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/OCN/PALS/PEARS/S.T.A.B.L.E./C-EFM as position/unit requires
- Physical requirements: ability to lift 50 lbs, standing/walking, reach/bend/kneel/squat
