Job Summary
Registered Nurse for PCU responsible for applying the nursing process to provide patient care, coordinating with other departments, maintaining patient rights/confidentiality, and upholding Mercy Service Standards. Requires RN licensure in the hiring state (or compact licensure), and appropriate certifications (BLS; ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/PALS/PEARS/S.T.A.B.L.E./C-EFM as required). Must meet physical requirements (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking). Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, tuition support, and retirement plans for qualified hours. Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Licensure: current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure
- Certification requirements: BLS and various unit-specific certifications (ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM) as applicable to position/unit
- Physical requirements: ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs, prolonged standing/walking
- Experience: seeking experienced nurses
