Job Summary
Utilizes nursing process to provide patient care, maintains accountability for patient care for assigned patients, evaluates care effectiveness of direct care givers, coordinates patient care with other departments, and protects patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with Mercy Service Standards and mission.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience as an RN (experienced nurses)
- ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/BLS/PALS/S.T.A.B.L.E. or other unit-specific certifications as required by unit
