Job Summary
Provide patient care using the nursing process and maintain accountability for patient care for assigned patients; evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers; coordinate patient care with other departments; maintain patient rights and confidentiality; align with Mercy mission and Service Standards; requires RN licensure in the hiring state/compact licensure, and BLS with unit-specific certifications as applicable; physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform required movements.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Licensure: RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Experience: Seeking experienced nurses
- Certifications: BLS and applicable certifications (ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM) as required by unit/position
- Physical Requirements: ability to push, pull, lift 50 lbs; prolonged standing and walking; reach/bend/kneel/twist/squat
