Registered Nurse Patient Care Coordinator, Part-Time - The Endoscopy Center of West Central Ohio

Organize time, equipment, supplies, and personnel while assisting the Registered Nurse and physician in providing pre- and/or post-operative care. Confirm pre-operative testing and medical clearance, assess patient status, and implement pre-operative regimens according to policy. Administer prescribed medication, monitor vital signs, and perform treatments such as catheterizations under RN direction. Document patient responses to interventions, explain post-operative instructions, and assist with discharge activities. Maintain order and cleanliness of pre- and post-operative areas, clean instruments, and replenish supply inventories. Demonstrate competence in emergency situations and recognize personal limitations. Requires current RN license, BCLS, and ACLS/PALS certification. Previous experience in an ambulatory surgery setting or acute hospital surgical department of at least one year is required.
