Job Summary
Registered Nurse position in a part-time role focused on ambulatory care. Responsibilities include medication administration, planning and documenting individualized plans of care, coordinating across the care continuum, and ensuring patient and family-centered care. Demonstrates safe nursing practice, adherence to policies, and collaboration with physicians, care managers, and health care teams to achieve desired patient outcomes. Requires strong communication, ability to work both autonomously and in teams, and proficiency with clinical documentation and health system software (Outlook, Epic, HealthStream, Workday).
Required Qualifications
- RN license required
- BLS – Basic Life Support
- Ambulatory care nursing proficiency
- Graduate/BSN preferred (BSN preferred as stated)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in teams
- Knowledge of healthcare policies and procedures
- Proficiency with electronic health records (e.g., Epic) and hospital systems (Outlook, HealthStream, Workday)
- Commitment to patient and family-centered care
- Critical thinking and problem solving
