Job Summary
Registered Nurse in a part-time ambulatory care role delivering individualized nursing care through the nursing process. Responsible for medication administration, planning and documenting care, coordinating cross-continuum care, and communicating with patients, families, physicians and care teams to achieve desired outcomes. Maintains safety and quality standards, follows SSH policies, participates in professional development and uses technology (Outlook, Epic, HealthStream, Workday) to support care delivery. Requires RN licensure, BLS certification, and typically a BSN (preferred) with ambulatory care experience. Emphasizes patient/family-centered care, ethical considerations, and collaboration across disciplines to ensure timely, appropriate care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
- RN - Registered Nurse
- BLS – Basic Life Support
- Demonstrated proficiency in ambulatory care nursing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and regulations
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of health system resources and interdisciplinary collaboration
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- Ambulatory Care RN experience preferred

- BLS – Basic Life Support
