Registered Nurse (Part-Time)

Job Summary
Prescribe, coordinate, and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care. Cross-functional training may be required to learn skills for seamless facility-wide work. Complete mandatory behavioral and physical management training, including de-escalation and appropriate use of seclusion and restraint, prior to assisting in procedures. Pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. Maintain current licensure with the State Board of Nursing and hold a valid driver's license. Shifts include AM, PM, and NOC rotations. Overtime and flexible hours may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- At least 6 months experience
- Currently licensed to practice by the State Board of Nursing
- Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications
- CPR certification
- Successful completion of the hospital's designated behavioral and physical management training program including de-escalation and appropriate use of seclusion and restraint
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in a psychiatric health-care facility
- Valid driver's license
- Passion for working in the behavioral health setting
