Job Summary
Provide patient care using the nursing process in the pre-procedure area, maintaining professional accountability and coordinating care with other departments. Ensure patient rights and confidentiality, align with Mercy mission and service standards, and uphold Mercy values. Requires ongoing RN licensure in the hiring state or compact licensure and Basic Life Support with potential additional certifications dependent on unit. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing/walking. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, tuition support, and retirement plans for those working 32+ hours per pay period. Location: Mercy Hospital Lincoln, Troy, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- RN licensure in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- One or more of ACLS, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM as required by unit
- Ability to meet physical requirements (push/pull/lift 50 lbs, standing/walking)
