Job Summary
Part-time Night shift Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery at Jefferson Health in Turnersville, NJ. Uses the nursing process to plan and deliver patient- and family-centered care, develops individualized care plans with patients and designated care partners, and collaborates with inter-professional teams to ensure safety and quality of care. Responsibilities include education for patients and families, adherence to evidence-based practice, monitoring outcomes, discharge planning, and effective documentation. Required qualifications include RN licensure in NJ, BLS, and ongoing professional development; BSN strongly preferred and L&D experience preferred. This role emphasizes partnership with patients and families, culturally competent care, and participation in safety/quality initiatives while providing compassionate, coordinated care in the Labor & Delivery setting.
Required Qualifications
- Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
- Active RN license required in state of practice
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_NJ - State of New Jersey
- Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree BSN or completion of BSN or appropriate advanced degree within 3 years of hire strongly preferred
- 1 year Previous experience as an RN in a Labor & Delivery strongly preferred
