Job Summary
Registered Nurse role working Part Time Nights at Mercy with responsibilities to utilize the nursing process to provide patient care, coordinate with other departments, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and uphold Mercy Service Standards. Requires licensure as an RN in the hiring state or through compact licensure, and completion/maintenance of required certifications (BLS, and unit-specific certifications). Ideal candidate will demonstrate professional accountability, collaboration with direct care givers, and commitment to Mercy’s mission and values. Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ACLS or other unit-specific certifications as required by position (NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM) as applicable
- Prolonged standing and walking capability; ability to push/pull more than 50 lbs as needed
