Job Summary
Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Deliver professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, guiding employees under supervision while demonstrating Service Excellence standards. Ensure Patient Centered Care serves as the foundation for all nursing activities. Maintain current RN license in Nevada, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications as required by department. Complete a Specialty course within six months of hire or possess one-year acute care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Completion of a Specialty course
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification (adult patients)
- Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients)
- Current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients)
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility
- One-year acute care experience
- Successful completion of an approved specialty course
