Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned adult and geriatric patients with neurological conditions, including CVA, brain injury, and spinal injury. Coordinate care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Maintain professional accountability for all patient care activities under RN direction. This part-time, nights-only role at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO, offers a sign-on bonus of $5,000 for graduates or $10,000 for experienced nurses with one year of experience. Requirements include a nursing degree, current RN license, and Basic Life Support certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (associate's degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
