Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed provider or Registered Professional Nurse. Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients while coordinating care with other departments and safeguarding patient rights and confidentiality. Deliver comprehensive collaborative care to adult and geriatric patients with neurological conditions, including CVA, brain injury, spinal injury, amputation, hip fracture, and joint replacement. This part-time role consists of two 12-hour night shifts at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO, offering a sign-on bonus of $5,000 for graduates or $10,000 for experienced nurses with one year of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (associate's degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
