Job Summary
Provide patient care under supervision using the nursing process while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. Coordinate care with other departments and uphold patient rights and confidentiality. Manage care for adult and geriatric patients with neurological conditions, including CVA, brain injury, and spinal injury, focusing on restoring function in activities of daily living. Utilize all clinical skills within a collaborative healthcare team setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (associate's degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
