Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision for assigned patients, maintaining professional accountability and coordinating care across departments. Manage patient rights and confidentiality while treating adult and geriatric patients with neurological conditions, CVA, brain injuries, spinal injuries, amputations, hip fractures, and joint replacements. Obtain and maintain current RN licensure and Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. Work part-time shifts consisting of two 12-hour night rotations at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (associate's degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
