Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision for assigned patients in the Acute Rehab unit. Coordinate care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Manage neurological and medical conditions involving CVA, brain injury, spinal injury, amputation, hip fracture, and joint replacement. Maintain professional accountability and obtain current RN licensure within the hiring state. Achieve Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. Work part-time night shifts (2 twelve-hour shifts) at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (associate's degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
