Job Summary
Provide patient care in an inpatient setting using the nursing process, coordinating with other departments to ensure effective care; maintain patient rights and confidentiality; uphold Mercy mission and standards while supporting orthopedic patient care at Mercy Orthopedic Hospital (Ozark/Springfield, MO). The role is part-time and focuses on delivering hands-on nursing duties within the hospital environment, ensuring safety and professionalism, and meeting unit-specific certification requirements as determined by the hired unit.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire
- ACLS or other unit-specific certifications as required by position/unit (examples: NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM)
