Job Summary
RN position (Part-Time Days) in Rushford, MN. Responsibilities include assessing residents’ health status, administering medications, performing skin treatments and other care, documenting according to standards, discharge planning, coordinating with team members, and responding to emergencies. Requires Minnesota RN licensure, CPR certification, English proficiency, and experience in geriatrics/long-term care. Catheterizations, tube feedings, and other clinical skills may be involved; leadership and confidentiality emphasized; benefits include PTO, shift differentials, pension match, health/dental, and more.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a registered nurse accredited program
- Current active RN nursing licensure in the State of Minnesota in good standing
- CPR certified
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
- Clinical experience with geriatrics, long-term care and/or rehabilitation preferred
- Knowledge of and skilled in physical assessment techniques
- Knowledge of and skilled in use of the nursing process
- Skilled in oral and written English communication-communicates clear expectations
- Knowledge of Quality Improvement-welcomes change to improve
- Demonstrates leadership/supervision ability
- Demonstrates sensitivity to the needs, feelings and opinions of residents, family, and other staff members; patience, gentleness, concern, and sincerity; warmth and friendliness
- Confidentiality with written and verbal information
- Demonstrates Integrity, honesty, tact, and diplomacy when in contact with residents, family, and other staff members, professional behavior
- Neat and well-groomed appearance
