Job Summary
Provides quality life and care to residents as an RN, using the nursing process to assess health status, administer medications, and deliver treatments such as skin care, catheterizations, and tube feedings. Documents accurately and comprehensively, participates in discharge planning, and collaborates with the care team to ensure safe, effective resident care. Performs delegation and coordination of nursing actions, responds to emergencies per policies, and contributes to quality improvement efforts. Requires MN RN licensure, CPR certification, and English communication; geriatrics/long-term care experience preferred. Part-time day shift based in Rushford, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a registered nurse accredited program
- Current active RN license in Minnesota (in good standing)
- CPR certification
- English reading/writing/communication
- Clinical experience with geriatrics, long-term care and/or rehabilitation preferred
- Knowledge of nursing process
- Knowledge of quality improvement
- Leadership/supervision ability
- Patience, warmth, and confidentiality in resident care
