Job Summary
Supervise floor nurses and staff to ensure care meets established standards, resolve conflicts, and replace absent personnel. Assist the ADON/DON with calculating daily staffing needs based on census, review doctor's orders, and oversee resident assessments. Coordinate care by communicating with families, physicians, and healthcare providers, while managing family concerns and updating leadership on important situations. Enter admission orders in ECS, request supplies from Central Supply, and assist with emergencies in the Health Center or independent living. Requires current Florida RN license, CPR certification, and at least one year of supervisory experience.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse
- A minimum of one year as a supervisor
- CPR Certified
- Must be available for annual influenza vaccination or submit a written declination and comply with alternative protective measures

- One year of long term care experience
- Med-surg experience
- Home Health experience
- Emergency Room experience
- Experience working with developmentally disabled adults
