Job Summary
The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care to patients in a correctional facility setting during the 6pm-6:30am shift every Monday. Key responsibilities include timely assessment and delivery of nursing care, administration of medications and treatments, triaging patient intake screenings, recording vital signs and medical data, patient education, maintaining confidentiality and infection control, and collaborating with medical services. The role requires an active nursing license and BLS certification, along with strong documentation skills and knowledge of the RN scope of practice.
Required Qualifications
- Active nursing license in the state in which services are to be provided, in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; hands-on training
- Excellent documentation skills
- Knowledge of the RN scope of practice
