Job Summary
Overnight RN opportunity in Rushford, MN. Responsible for monitoring and delivering quality resident care in accordance with GSLS policies, state and federal regulations, and standards of care. Key duties include performing assessments, administering medications, delivering treatments and clinical skills (e.g., skin assessments, catheterizations, tube feedings), accurate documentation, discharge planning, and coordinating/collaborating with team members to ensure safe, effective care. The role requires adherence to licensure requirements, strong English communication, and leadership in guiding and supervising staff while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a registered nurse accredited program required
- Current active RN nursing licensure in the State of Minnesota in good standing
- CPR certified
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
- Clinical experience with geriatrics, long-term care and/or rehabilitation preferred
- Knowledge of the nursing process
- Knowledge of quality improvement
- Knowledge of physical assessment techniques
- Knowledge of and skilled in use of the nursing process
- Skilled in oral and written English communication
- Demonstrates leadership/supervision ability
- Patience, gentleness, concern, and sincerity in interactions with residents and families
- Confidentiality with written and verbal information
- Integrity, honesty, tact, diplomacy in professional interactions
- Neat and well-groomed appearance
- Economical and careful with property, supplies and time
