Job Summary
Overnight Registered Nurse responsible for monitoring and delivering quality resident care in a long-term care setting under GSLS policies and state/federal regulations. Key duties include assessing resident health status, administering medications, performing skin care and other treatments (catheterizations, tube feedings), thorough documentation, discharge planning, and coordinating care with staff, family, and physicians. Requires RN licensure in Minnesota, CPR certification, and English communication; geriatrics/long-term care and rehabilitation knowledge preferred. The role emphasizes leadership, patient-centered care, and adherence to nursing processes and quality measures.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a registered nurse accredited program
- Current active RN nursing licensure in the State of Minnesota in good standing
- CPR certified
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
- Clinical experience with geriatrics, long-term care and/or rehabilitation preferred
- Demonstrates leadership/supervision ability
- Knowledge of nursing process and assessment techniques
- Knowledge of quality improvement
