Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Palliative/Pulmonary unit provides professional, comprehensive nursing care in an acute care environment. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; developing and coordinating plans of care; advocating for ethical care; and facilitating a learning environment. Applicants must be a licensed RN with at least one year of experience, or eligible through the NLRN Program, and must maintain BLS certification. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred, along with additional certifications depending on the unit.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse in the State of Practice
- At least one year of nursing experience (or less if from NLRN Program)
- Maintain BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Specialty Certification
- BSN in Nursing preferred
- ACLS certification (unit dependent)
