Job Summary
The Registered Nurse will perform a variety of duties to ensure that quality nursing care is provided, assist physicians during interventional procedures, and maintain patient safety. Responsibilities include following physician orders, recording medications, conducting continuous assessments, reporting observations, evaluating patient responses post-operatively, and promoting nursing care improvement. The ideal candidate must possess critical thinking skills, compassion, and the ability to act quickly in emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current registration with the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
- Evidence of current BLS certification
- Evidence of current ACLS certification; or certification within six months of hire
- One (1) year of previous nursing experience in hospital or ASC setting
