Job Summary
Conduct admission RN and psychosocial assessments, medication reconciliation, and facilitate individual and group educational sessions with patients and families. Perform withdrawal and substance use disorder risk assessments, complete discharge summaries, and assist with aftercare planning and conference calls with schools and counselors. Coordinate nursing care across the continuum, delegate patient care based on skill level and acuity, and provide leadership through preceptor roles and quality improvement efforts. Function autonomously within the interdisciplinary team under medical director direction. This role supports the Pain Rehabilitation Center's 17-day outpatient program for adults with chronic pain, fatigue, or debilitating symptoms, offering TN sponsorship eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- State licensure
- VisaScreen or equivalent certification
- Excellent communication skills
- Skillful in mentoring and teaching
- Experience working with pediatrics or with parenting/family dynamics would be helpful
