Job Summary
Registered Nurse II in BIDMC PACU West (Main OR PACU) delivering direct nursing care to inpatients and outpatients undergoing anesthesia services. Provides care coordination, formulates and implements care plans, and collaborates with anesthesia and other health professionals to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care. Demonstrates decision-making, communication, advocacy, and teamwork; maintains mandatory education and unit competencies; participates in quality improvement and professional development activities. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN license, BLS, and 1–3 years of related experience; a BSN is strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required
- License Registered Nurse required
- Basic Life Support required
- 1-3 years related work experience required
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing strongly preferred
- Basic familiarity with computers
