Registered Nurse - PACU - Variable shift options- Days

PACU Registered Nurse at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, NE, with 24/36-hour weekly scheduling options. Responsible for delivering safe, individualized post-anesthesia care, performing initial and ongoing patient assessments, developing and updating the plan of care, implementing interventions, evaluating patient responses, and collaborating with providers and interdisciplinary team members. Must demonstrate professional nursing practice, teach patients and families, ensure safety and compliance with nursing protocols, and manage care transitions from PACU to discharge. Education path includes a BSN or MSN, or ADN with a plan to attain BSN/MSN within five years; licensure as RN in Nebraska (or compact multistate license) and current BLS/ACLS certifications as required by unit. Strong interpersonal, multi-tasking, and computer skills are also required.
