Job Summary
The Registered Nurse - PACU optimizes patient outcomes by delivering compassionate, collaborative, high-quality care across age groups and cultures. Responsibilities include assessing and recording vital signs, gathering patient medical history, documenting care needs, administering medications, maintaining patient records, providing emotional support to patients and families, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. RNs in this role ensure compliance with nursing standards and relevant regulations. New graduate nurses are accepted for some positions and must possess excellent communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts state RN license
- All RNs must have current BLS certification
- ACLS is required for specific units
- Command of verbal and written English
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Good organizational skills and adaptability
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care setting preferred
