Job Summary
PACU Registered Nurse needed to deliver high-quality, patient-centered post-operative care in a fast-paced surgical recovery setting. Responsibilities include managing airway support, monitoring neurological and cardiac status, responding to complications, providing initial wound care, ensuring patient stability during recovery, and collaborating with the surgical and anesthesia teams. The role entails on-call availability during select non-business hours and a supportive environment with staffing resources and leadership that fosters a collaborative culture. Must apply critical thinking, nursing process, evidence-based practices, and strong communication to educate patients and families about conditions, treatment, and follow-up measures.
Required Qualifications
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- Associate Degree
- 1 year experience Required Years of Experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- On-call availability during select non-business hours
