Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the PACU at Holy Cross Health (Silver Spring, MD) on a 12-hour night shift. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team, following the nursing process and using the Quality Caring Model to plan and manage care, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Effective communication of patient/family information to the health care team is essential. Requires ADN (BSN preferred) and RN licensure in MD or a Compact state, with BLS/AHA certification and life support training as applicable. Minimum 1 year RN experience preferred; sign-on bonus available for eligible candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program ADN required
- BSN preferred
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State
- BLS certification AHA; additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements preferred
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience preferred
