Job Summary
Registered Nurse in PACU provides professional nursing care using the nursing process for patients in the post-anesthesia care unit. Responsibilities include directing and supervising other assigned team members, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring age/developmentally appropriate care according to unit standards. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program with BSN preferred, current BLS certification, Texas RN license (or eligibility), and at least 2 years of critical care RN experience. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- Work experience: at least 2 years of RN experience in a critical care setting
