Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the PACU at Beth Israel Deaconess/BIDMC rotating across PACUs to support post-anesthesia recovery. Provides direct patient care, assesses health care needs, formulates and implements care plans, coordinates with assistive personnel, and collaborates with health professionals to deliver safe, patient-centered care. Requires RN license, BLS, and 1-3 years of related experience. BSN strongly preferred; able to navigate basic computer applications. Must work in a fast-paced, multi-PACU environment with emphasis on quality and patient safety. May participate in quality improvement and professional development activities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program
- License Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 1-3 years related work experience
