Job Summary
Provide safe, effective nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit using the nursing process; involve patients and families in the plan of care; maintain regulatory compliance; take accountability for nursing outcomes and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes; direct and guide assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care; communicate with nurses, physicians, and other team members to ensure continuity of care. Requires graduation from a state-approved nursing program with IL RN license and CPR/BLS; BSN preferred. Part-time schedule is 7a–5p, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities; ability to travel between Highland Park, Evanston, Glenbrook, and Skokie Hospitals.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a state approved school of nursing
- IL RN License
- CPR
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
