Job Summary
Registered Nurse PACU at Ascension supporting Perioperative Care. Follow aseptic sterile technique per AORN/ASPAN standards; evaluate patient responses to treatments and interventions; manage patient pain; anticipate case-specific needs based on procedure and pathophysiology. Day shift with PRN coverage in an acute care hospital setting; active nursing licensure in Wisconsin or compact-state, with required ALS and BLS timelines. Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State
- Advanced Life Support (within 6 months of hire)
- BLS Provider (within 30 days)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire
