Registered Nurse - Outpatient Surgery PRN

Job Summary
RN provides patient-centered care through the nursing process for outpatient surgery, coordinating with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care. Responsibilities include administering prescribed medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting during procedures, scrubbing in for OR services, maintaining infection control and patient safety, documenting care in the medical record, and participating in performance improvement and audits. Requires 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations; RN state licensure/compact licensure and Basic Life Support are required. ACLS/PALS/NRP are preferred. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. Location: Vicksburg, MS. Shift: Day-based, part-time role as listed.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation preferred
