Job Summary
Registered Nurse Outpatient Pre Op in Plano, TX supports Endoscopy with preoperative evaluation, patient and family education, IV therapy and preoperative medications, surgical site verification, and adherence to universal protocols. The role requires independent nursing care, continuous monitoring, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow in the Operating Room. On-call is required during select non-business hours. Requires an RN with an Associate Degree and 2+ years of acute hospital experience; ACLS, BCLS, and PALS certifications due within specified timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree RN
- 2+ years of Acute Hospital RN experience REQUIRED
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days of employment start date
