Job Summary
Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy, and provide patient and family education in a high-volume outpatient infusion center. Utilize the nursing process, delegate tasks, and provide formal or informal leadership within the unit. Obtain oncology-specific continuing education credits yearly and assist with research studies. This role supports a rapidly growing program at Saint Luke's, a faith-based nonprofit health system, with a Monday through Friday schedule and occasional weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
- Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
- 1 year ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
- Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation
- Associate Degree
- 2-3 weekend shifts a year
- 1 major holiday every 2 years
