Job Summary
Coordinate care, patient assessment, and education for dialysis patients utilizing the nursing process. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to plan, implement, and evaluate treatment for End Stage Renal Disease. Document patient history, medications, and care provided while supervising unlicensed personnel within the Nurse Practice Act. Utilize technology to enhance quality care and assume overall nursing accountability for the 32-station outpatient unit. New grads and experienced nurses welcome for this 12-hour day shift role with a sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific licensure, competencies and certifications
