Job Summary
Registered Nurse responsible for pediatric/adolescent residential health care, medication administration oversight, nursing administration to staff, on-call nursing services, and development/training of health-related policies. Performs medication monitoring, infection control, clinical advocacy in multidisciplinary meetings, and ensures regulatory compliance for storage, dispensing, and disposal of medications. Provides health education to youth, supports the Sanctuary Model, and delivers trainings on medical emergencies, hygiene, and disease prevention within a residential setting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Currently licensed to practice by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing
- A valid Arkansas driver's license and insurance
- Must receive child maltreatment, adult maltreatment, FBI and Arkansas state police criminal background clearance
- Must have malpractice insurance up to date
- OUACHITA Children, Youth, and Family Services accreditation (COA)
