Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care using evidence-based practice on the Orthopedic Medical Surgical unit. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for orthopedic and medical-surgical patients while monitoring conditions and responding quickly to clinical needs. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and accurately. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve the best patient outcomes. Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning. Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and quality care. Work nights with 36 weekly hours.
