Registered Nurse, Orthopedic Med/Surg, Full-Time, Variable

Provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting, fostering patient/family centered care using evidence-based practices. Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and validate goals with patients and families. Deliver direct care consistent with the nursing plan, delegate tasks appropriately, and monitor quality of care through performance indicators and audits. Teach patients and families regarding their condition and discharge planning, while maintaining a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards. Work variable shifts including weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations at Blount Memorial Hospital.
