Job Summary
Orthopaedic Ward Registered Nurse role based at Greenslopes Private Hospital (Ramsay Health Care Group) in Queensland, Australia. Responsibilities include planning, evaluating and delivering high-quality orthopaedic nursing care with support from Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders; clinical assessment and evidence-based nursing; knowledge of orthopaedic conditions, surgical procedures and post-operative care; supporting preoperative, perioperative and postoperative care; patient education, multidisciplinary collaboration, and rehabilitation and recovery. The role involves caring for patients on Ward 47 (Ortho), with a rotating 7-day roster. Must be AHPRA-registered, with previous acute/pre/post-surgical experience, and able to work within a flexible roster. Additional requirements include National Police Check within the last 12 months and immunisation against infectious diseases.
