Job Summary
Plan, evaluate, and deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients with complex muscular-skeletal cases on Ward 47. Support preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative care, patient education, multidisciplinary collaboration, and rehabilitation recovery under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse, and Shift Leaders. Provide strong clinical assessment and critical thinking while working a rotating 7-day roster. Transition into the new hospital with support from Nurse Educators to build knowledge in orthopaedic specialties.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications and registrations with AHPRA as an Registered Nurse
- Previous experience working in an acute care, pre- and post-surgical environment
- Flexibility to work a rotating 7-day roster
- Knowledge of orthopaedic conditions, surgical procedures, and post-operative care
- Demonstrates excellent time management and organisational skills
- Work well with a team
- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- Ramsay may require proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
