Registered Nurse – Orthopedic Unit PRN Day shift in Newport News, VA. Provides assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of total nursing care for assigned patients in the Critical Care/Telemetry complex, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and evaluate care plans. Demonstrates critical thinking, communication, and delegation of non-professional personnel; educates patients and families, coordinates discharge planning, ensures accurate clinical and quality documentation, and adapts care to diverse patient populations while maintaining standards of excellence and patient safety.
