Job Summary
Registered Nurse needed for Orthopedics/Spine department on PART-TIME night shifts, with new weekend night differential eligibility. Requires at least one year of direct patient care, hospital on-call responsiveness within 30 minutes, and ability to administer medications (RCIS preferred or TN licensure). Proficiency with Meditech and Site Rite, and familiarity with guidewires and catheters. Duties include maintaining sterile fields, coordinating with physicians and team, accurate documentation, transporting patients and supplies, and supporting multiple procedures in a hospital setting. Weekend night coverage implied by night shift; location Nashville, TN within Williamson Health system.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- RCIS preferred (must have within 6 month of hire) or any TN state licensure that allows for the administration of medication
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- Must respond to hospital within thirty minutes for on call requirements
- At least one year of direct patient care experience
- Meditech computer system, Site Rite, Proficient use of guidewires, catheters and other necessary supplies
