Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in orthopedics/spine units as a Registered Nurse (RN) at Williamson Health in Brentwood, TN. Administer medications in accordance with clinical protocols; respond to hospital on-call requirements within thirty minutes; assemble and maintain sterile fields; assist with procedures; operate Meditech and other specified equipment; transport patients on stretchers or beds up to 250 lbs; communicate effectively with physicians and the healthcare team; ensure patient safety and high-quality care in a hospital setting; maintain readiness to support urgent and emergency situations. Requires at least one year of direct patient care experience, BLS within 90 days of hire, and state licensure that allows for medication administration; RCIS preferred within six months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- RCIS preferred (must have within 6 month of hire) or TN state licensure that allows medication administration
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- Respond to hospital within thirty minutes for on call requirements
- At least one year of direct patient care experience
- Meditech computer system familiarity
- Site Rite familiarity
- Proficient use of guidewires, catheters and other necessary supplies
- Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing
- Ability to transport patients on stretchers or beds up to 250lbs dependently or independently
