Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Ortho/Spine in Williamson Health’s hospital setting. Provide orthopedic/spine nursing care, administer medications within licensure, maintain sterile fields, and document accurately. Utilize Meditech and Site Rite systems; respond to on-call requirements within 30 minutes; demonstrate strong communication with physicians and team; perform duties such as handling medications and supplies, assembling sterile fields, and ensuring efficient patient throughput. Requires at least one year of direct patient care experience, BLS certification within 90 days of hire, ability to stand/walk for extended periods, and capability to perform under pressure in a hospital environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- RCIS preferred (must have within 6 month of hire) or TN state licensure that allows for administration of medication
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- Respond to hospital within thirty minutes for on call requirements
- At least one year of direct patient care experience
- Proficient use of Meditech computer system, Site Rite; Proficient use of guidewires, catheters and other necessary supplies
